Low Dose Naltrexone, or LDN, is a prescription medication that, in lower doses, has shown positive effects on the immune system by reducing inflammation and modulating the body’s response to autoimmune triggers. Originally used to treat opioid dependence at higher doses, recent research has found that in much smaller amounts, LDN can aid in managing conditions like fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn’s disease.
